FALSE IDOL: Boffins Say Japanese Temple Mummy Of Mermaid That People Worshipped During Pandemic Is Fake

Picture shows the mummified body of an alleged ningyo that was stored at Enjuin Temple, in Asakuchi, Japan, undated. Scientists completed  an investigation to determine the true identity of the artefact and it was determined to not be  a mermaid.
