CITY OF LIGHTS: Researchers Find Ancient Mayan City Hidden In Jungle By Using Laser Light

A LiDAR equipment image shows temples, palaces, housing complexes and landscape, terraces and canals, of a city buried underground at Calakmul in Campeche, Mexico, undated.
The  technology enabled scientists to  corroborate that this ancient Mayan city was one of the largest in America, more than 1,300 years ago.
